§ IV.06

Laundry rooms.

Linen, pressing, hand-wash.

§ 01
Discipline

The laundry, treated well, is one of the most pleasant rooms in the house. We build laundries with stone surfaces deep enough to fold a sheet on, a pressing table that's the right height for the household, and dedicated drawers for ironed linens.

An honest laundry plans for drip drying, hand-wash, and the slow work of taking care of fabric. We provide a separate sink for delicates, a slatted rail for drying hangers, and a heated towel rail.
