Six things people ask firstWhere does Kloset Worx work?
Two metros, from two workshops. In the Northeast — Manhattan, Brooklyn, the Bronx, Westchester, the Hamptons and Connecticut — and across Dallas–Fort Worth, from Highland Park, University Park and Preston Hollow to Southlake, Westlake and Frisco. New York work is milled in our Bronx workshop; Texas work is milled in our Dallas workshop.
Is the consultation really free?
Yes. The first conversation runs about sixty minutes, at the workshop or in your home, at no charge and with no obligation. If you go ahead, any design fee is credited to your project.
What happens after I send this form?
A designer — not a salesperson — replies within one business day to set up the consultation. We talk through the room, the household and the budget, then measure and put a fixed quote in writing.
Do you design, build and install yourselves, or subcontract?
All of it is ours. Every project is designed in three dimensions, milled in our own New York or Dallas workshop, and installed by the same crew that built it. We never subcontract the install.
What will my project cost?
It depends on the room. A reach-in starts near $3,500; a walk-in dressing room typically runs in the tens of thousands; a whole-residence program starts near $300K. You receive a fixed, written quote after we measure — see the ranges above.
How long does it take, and is it guaranteed?
Roughly two to three weeks for a reach-in, four to six for a dressing room, and ten to sixteen for a whole residence. Every project is backed by twenty-five years on the cabinetry and a lifetime on the joinery.
Visit the workshop at 382 Canal Place, the Bronx by appointment; designers and architects begin through the trade program; or write to studio@klosetworx.com and a person who answers the door will reply within one business day.
