01
The conversation
A pour, a sit, a frank exchange.
We start at the table. The room, the household, the way you actually live in the closet — not a brief, a conversation.
-
02
The samples
Wood in hand, finish in hand.
Veneers, painted finishes, brass, leather, stone. Drawn from the same library a trade member gets by post — held against your light.
-
03
Recent work
A reading file, kept against the residence.
We walk the register — completed rooms, drawings, the odd story. Discreet. The plate is the residence; the owner stays nameless.

What's next
A note, by Monday.
A written follow-up with a ballpark, a timeline, and — if you want one — a date for the planner to take measurements on site.
The workshop is in the Bronx. Projects install wherever the room is.
All five boroughs
Manhattan, Brooklyn, the Bronx, Queens. Westchester, the Hamptons, Hudson Valley, Connecticut. Further afield by arrangement.
The Hamptons
East Hampton, Sag Harbor, Bridgehampton, Sagaponack, Southampton, Montauk, and Shelter Island. A significant share of our garage, mudroom, and wine-room work is here.
Hudson Valley & Westchester
Bedford, Pound Ridge, Garrison, Rhinebeck, Hudson, and the river towns. Libraries and studies, mostly, for houses with the wall for them.
Fairfield County
Greenwich, New Canaan, Darien, Westport, and the shoreline. Whole-residence projects, frequently alongside a primary architect.
By the project
Aspen, Palm Beach, Nantucket, and the Berkshires for established clients and trade partners. Travel and logistics are quoted plainly, in the proposal, with no surprise at the end.
Write to us anyway
If your room is somewhere we have not named, it is worth a note. Some of the work we are proudest of began with a city we had not been to.
Sixty minutes,
no charge.
Tell us a little about the room. We reply within two working days with two or three available times, at the workshop or at your residence.

Active-project clients walk the Bronx workshop floor on Wednesdays. See your project mid-build. See the dozen others alongside it.
Trade partners may schedule workshop visits on Friday afternoons. Write to studio@klosetworx.com to arrange.
