Custom closets in the Bronx.
The Bronx is home. Our 6,000 sq ft workshop sits at 382 Canal Place in Mott Haven — so a Bronx project is milled and installed by the same hands, a few miles from the door.
Kloset Worx is a Bronx maker. Everything we build for the whole region is milled at 382 Canal Place in Mott Haven, on the East River — which means a closet for a house in the Bronx never leaves the borough between drawing and install. Riverdale and Fieldston center-hall colonials, Spuyten Duyvil co-ops with a view of the Palisades, and the prewar buildings along the Grand Concourse all ask for the same thing: storage that respects the original architecture rather than fighting it.
Being local is a practical advantage, not a slogan. The survey, the milling and the install all happen close enough that we can return for a final adjustment the same week, and you are welcome to visit the workshop and watch your closet being built before it ships.
Because the workshop is in the borough, Bronx installs are the simplest scheduling we do — a single crew, often within a week of the cabinetry coming off the bench. Floors and routes are protected before anything is carried in, and the room is left clean each evening.
Every project is milled at the Bronx workshop — a 6,000 sq ft workshop on the East River — and installed by the same crew that built it. We do not subcontract the install.

Do you build custom closets in the Bronx?
Yes. Kloset Worx designs, mills and installs custom closets, walk-in dressing rooms, pantries and built-in storage throughout the Bronx. Every project is drawn in 3D, milled at our Bronx workshop (382 Canal Place, Mott Haven), and installed by the same crew that built it — we do not subcontract.
How much does a custom closet cost in the Bronx?
It depends on the room. A reach-in typically starts near $3,500; a walk-in dressing room usually runs in the tens of thousands; a whole-residence program starts near $300K. You receive a fixed, written quote after we measure the room in person.
Is the design consultation free?
Yes. The first visit runs about an hour — at your home or at the workshop — at no charge and with no obligation. If you go ahead, any design fee is credited to your project.
How long does a custom closet take?
Roughly two to three weeks for a reach-in, four to six for a walk-in dressing room, and ten to sixteen for a whole residence, measured from the approved drawings. Every project is backed by twenty-five years on the cabinetry and a lifetime on the joinery.
Do you handle co-op and condo board requirements?
Yes. We carry the certificates of insurance that co-op and condo boards require, schedule the freight elevator with the building in advance, and protect the lobby, hallways and floors before anything is carried in.
