Mudrooms & entryways.
For the household coming home.
Mudrooms hold the moment between the city and the home. They have to absorb wet coats, sandy bags, school knapsacks, and the dog — and look composed when seen from the kitchen at seven on a Sunday.
We design mudrooms for the family that actually lives in them. Locker storage per household member, metal pegs at three heights, a bench long enough to unlace boots on, and a single drawer that holds keys, phones, and the day's mail.
- ↳ Open hanging on metal pegs at three heights
- ↳ Lined cubbies for boots, with drainage trays
- ↳ Leather-clad bench with concealed shoe storage
- ↳ Hidden charging drawer with key hook
- ↳ Optional dog station: tile floor, hand-shower, towel hook
Built across every tier — a wide range of solid hardwoods and finishes through to rare, reclaimed and sourced materials. The exact species, finish and metal are chosen with you at the drawing stage; we are not a catalog.
What should a custom mudroom include?
Usually a bench, cubbies or lockers per person, hooks at the right heights, closed shoe storage and a drop zone for keys and mail — designed around the household's actual traffic.
How much does a custom mudroom cost?
It depends on the run and whether it includes lockers, seating and closed storage; you receive a fixed, written quote after we measure.
Can a mudroom handle wet boots, sand and snow?
Yes. We specify durable, wipeable surfaces and ventilation for a country or beach house that takes sand, snow and wet gear.
