§ 03 A short chronology From the friend's walk-in to the floor
  1. 2008 A friend on Riverside Drive. Sixty-two square feet, three runs of solid oak. Drawn, milled, and installed in eleven weeks. The first room we ever built and the room that named us.
  2. 2011 A small bench in Long Island City. Alessandra and Jonas share a 900-square-foot rental. Eleven projects that year, all referrals. The waitlist becomes the reason for everything that comes next.
  3. 2016 The Bronx floor. Six thousand square feet in Mott Haven. A mill section, a finish room, a dry-fit hall, a drawing room. Capacity for forty rooms a year.
  4. 2021 Twenty-six hands. The team reaches its current size. Six designers in the drawing room, fourteen in the shop, three in finishing, three on install. Every piece signed by the maker who built it.
  5. 2026 · Now Dallas — a second workshop. A second workshop opens in Dallas, bringing the same drawn-milled-installed method to North Texas. Over three thousand projects on file — Manhattan, Brooklyn, Westchester, the Hamptons, Connecticut, and now Dallas–Fort Worth. By appointment in both cities.
