§ 03 A short chronology From the friend's walk-in to the floor
  1. 2008 A friend on Riverside Drive. Sixty-two square feet, three runs of solid oak. Drawn, milled, and installed in eleven weeks. The first room we ever built and the room that named us.
  2. 2011 A small bench in Long Island City. A 900-square-foot rental and a waitlist built on referrals. The waitlist becomes the reason for everything that comes next.
  3. 2016 The Bronx floor. Six thousand square feet in Mott Haven. A mill section, a finish room, a dry-fit hall, a drawing room. Capacity for forty rooms a year.
  4. 2021 The drawing room, the shop, the install crew. The team takes its current shape: designers in the drawing room, joiners in the shop, finishers, and installers. Every piece signed by the maker who built it.
  5. 2026 · Now Dallas — a second workshop. A second workshop opens in Dallas, bringing the same drawn-milled-installed method to North Texas. Projects on file across Manhattan, Brooklyn, Westchester, the Hamptons, Connecticut, and now Dallas–Fort Worth. By appointment in both cities.
